Dr. Claire Benmergui has been brightening her patients’ smiles at our North York Dental clinic since the year 2000. After graduating from University of Toronto with honours, and gaining decades of experience, Claire and her team members are happy to provide their patients with the highest level of care.

Bone Graft
It is a procedure to replace bone lost due to infection or periodontal disease.
Bonding
Bonding is used to repair teeth that are decayed, chipped, fractured or discoloured. It can even reduce gaps between teeth.
Bridges
Replaces one or more missing teeth. They are false teeth anchored in place by neighbouring teeth

Fit over a tooth that has been broken, misshaped, badly stained or damaged by decay

Dentist
Dr. Benmergui enjoys volunteering to treat patients in remote reserves in Columbia, Guatemala, Nunavut, Brazil, Nicaragua, and many more. She has been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years. Her office located in North York, ON has been established since the year 2000 and has retained many patients through several generations. Dr. Benmergui is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, as well as the Canadian Dental Association.

Valeriia graduated in the Ukraine. She has been in the dental field gaining experience for over 5 years. Valeriia hobbies include travelling and shopping. She makes it her personal mission to care for each client’s needs, ensuring an enjoyable experience! She is responsible for booking appointments, billing, and corresponding with various insurance companies.

Wendy is a certified dental assistant, with over 16 years of experience. She has been working for Dr. Benmergui’s office since June of 2017. She values spending time with her friends and family. Wendy also enjoys reading and going to walks with her dog Rudy. Overall, Wendy loves helping all patients feel comfortable!

Mihaela is an accomplished dental hygienist with over 15 years of experience, who graduated from Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxillary. Mihaela thrives on making a difference in her client’s habits and oral health. She enjoys meeting new people and building long lasting relationships with her clients. In her spare time, Mihaela likes skiing and mountain biking with her husband, in addition to spending time with her family and pet kitten named Zoom!

Belinda has been a dental hygienist for over 20 years. When she is not working she is busy being a mom to three kids and a doggie.She enjoys reading, traveling and cooking in her spare time.

Mary is our office sterilizer who ensures that all tools are sterilized above expectation! She is responsible for disinfecting any equipment and is constantly ensuring optimal care for our patients. She is a hard working individual who originally comes from the Philippines and is one out of 10 siblings. During her spare time she enjoys cooking and hanging out with her friends.
Roya A.
Restorative Hygienist
Roya’s passion for healthcare began with midwifery in her home country, Iran. Following her immigration to Canada in 1997, with a four-year-old son in tow, she chose dental hygiene as her second career. Roya completed the Restorative Dental Hygiene program in 2008. Over the past 20 years, she has practiced in various areas of dentistry, including prosthodontics, periodontics, pediatric, and general dentistry. Additionally, Roya is an educator at George Brown College (GBC) and the University of Toronto (UofT). Her drive to assist others in achieving their health and dental care needs, coupled with her eagerness to share her knowledge and experience with students, makes every day both fun and exciting for her.
